I would have never created my own backstory for my XCOM 2 characters or create any sort of story where it wasn’t present without Austin showing me that was even a possibility. He also showed me a way to enjoy games that I never knew was possible. I watched/listened to any sort of Austin content I could! My gaming interests might not overlap with his the most out of the many video game journalist, but I respect his opinion the most. I was just immediately drawn to his personality. Then you add on his charm and whit! Now there is someone that I will forever hold in high esteem, and can't wait to hear/see what he does next.Īs soon as I hear Austin on his first Beastcast/Giant Bomb video I was hooked. Ultimately though I will miss Austin a ton! I loved hearing his opinion and voice on so many different topics.
